لورانس

ولد الشاعرلورانس أنيس  وترعرع في بيروت لبنان
وهو أصغر أخوته الثمانية، هاجر إلى الولايات المتحدة عام 1978 بسبب الحرب الأهلية والمهاترات الدينية في لبنان
متزوج من إمرأة أمريكية سورية الأصل جذورها من قرية فيروزة وله منها ولد واحد. درس هندسة الديكور في جامعة سانتياغو وعمل في شركة بوينغ لصنع الطائرات. مقيم حالياً في مدينة لوس أنجلس مع عائلته. له عمود شعري بعنوان وجدانيات منذ عام 2001 بصحيفة

Laurence

Laurence Anis was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. He is the youngest of eight siblings. He immigrated to the United States in 1978 due to the civil war and religious clashes in Lebanon. He is married to an American woman of Syrian descent, from the Syrian village of Fairouzeh, and has one son. He studied Interior Design at San Diego State University, and has worked for Boeing, which is the aircraft company. Laurence currently resides with his family in Los Angeles. Since 2001, he has been writing poetic articles in the Beirut Times newspaper that is based in Southern California. His articles can be read weekly under the column Sentiments (Wajdaniat). He has written and published three books in Arabic, which are: Aqel wa Qalb (Mind and Heart), Ta’emulat (Reflections), and Ana wa Ana (I and I).
